Girlface Africa was founded by Zakia Nabwire (Kenya), Elizabeth Beha (Kenya), Agnes Teich (Kenya), Mary Amanda Graham (US), Otto Obrist (Switzerland) and Ranwick Richard (Kenya) in 2017 to promote, facilitate, sponsor and advocate for the advancement of girls and mothers in Kenya and Africa as a whole.
Girlface is a global organization with its headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya.
Objectives
Promote in- line financing of the economically deprived girls, single mothers and guardians. Advocate against retrogressive cultures i.e. FGM and early marriages. Conduct community health audit of single mothers, children and old women. Create Partnerships with communities and relevant local and international organizations to provide books. Promote, facilitate and advance girl child education by sponsoring through to college education. Offer business development services, basic business skills and money lessons to communities Collect and maintain an up to date data on personal and community lifestyle and level Initiate an annual donation campaign of clothes, shoes and sanitary towels for the girl child
